QUICK RAIL USER GUIDE:

AS & WHEN REQUIRED, DURING THE SERVICE THE PHONE WILL KEEP REQUESTING FOR Sending SMS. PLEASE KEEP CLICKING ON YES.

TO START
  1. Please check if your city offers the i-ticket facility by calling railway enquiry
    1. This facility will be available on MeraMobi shortly

  2. For BOOKING TICKETS please ensure 3 CLEAR DAYS before date of journey

  3. OPEN Quick Rail

  4. It will prompt you to ENTER PIN (the 4-10 digit NUMERIC pin).
    1. If you are accessing for the FIRST TIME, CREATE a PIN. Enter the pin at the two specified locations, and confirm to successfully register
    2. TWO SMSs would be SENT to REGISTER and AUTHORIZE the PIN
    3. Please create an EASY to remember pin.
    4. The service will get LOCKED after 3 consecutive wrong entries.
    5. In case you forget your pin or the service gets locked, please contact MeraMobi CARE for assistance.

  5. Please LOGIN with your pin to start using QUICK RAIL
  6. After logging in, you will view the following:
    1. IRCTC for ticket booking; checking PNR status & changing IRCTC login
    2. MY TICKETS stores latest ticket details along with history of all transactions
    3. MY CARDS stores Credit Card details
    4. PASSENGER LIST stores the details of the passengers

  7. Please ENSURE the following BEFORE BOOKING a ticket:
    1. Create an IRCTC ACCOUNT, if you don’t have one already
    2. ADD PASSENGERS in the PASSENGER LIST

TO BOOK TICKET
  1. OPEN IRCTC

  2. SELECT FAST BOOKING

  3. A message reminding you to create the IRCTC ACCOUNT would be displayed.
    1. Please CREATE your IRCTC ACCOUNT on the WEB, if you don't have one already

  4. On the same page select the option PASSENGER to ADD PASSENGERS, if you have not added in the PASSENGER LIST already.
    1. An SMS will be SENT for adding each passenger.

  5. SELECT OK to confirm

  6. ENTER the following details:
    1. FROM and TO STATION CODES.
      • Information can be sourced from the railway enquiry
    2. DATE of journey
    3. Train Number
      • Information can be sourced from the railway enquiry
    4. CLASS of travel
    5. Ticket type is auto select on i-TICKET
    6. Select TATKAL, if booking through TATKAL QUOTA

  7. SELECT NEXT

  8. ENTER your IRCTC USER NAME and PASSWORD to login
    1. SELECT REMEMBER ME to save this data for further bookings
    2. In case you have logged in before you SELECT FAST BOOKING, this screen will NOT DISPLAY

    3. As SMS would be SENT with Login Details

  9. SELECT PASSENGER

  10. SELECT DELIVERY OPTION
    1. The DELIVERY ADDRESS is picked up automatically from your IRCTC ACCOUNT details
      • You can choose between residence or office address
    2. The delivery address cannot be changed. Also, the delivery address is not shown, so please ensure that the correct option is selected

  11. SELECT NEXT

  12. An SMS would be sent with RESERVATION QUERY details

  13. TICKET STATUS, FARE and IRCTC SERVICE CHARGE would appear

  14. SELECT YES to confirm

  15. ENTER the CREDIT CARD details correctly and select PAY
    1. If you have entered your credit card details in MY CARDS, it will automatically show up here and you can select from the options
    2. ONLY VISA & MASTER cards are acceptable

  16. ENTER CVV number (last 3 digits on the back of the credit card)

  17. SELECT PAY

  18. AN SMS would be sent with PAYMENT DETAILS

  19. The BOOKED TICKET is now displayed and also gets stored in MY TICKETS

  20. Your i-TICKET will be DELIVERED to the assigned address within 48-72 hours

  21. For CANCELLATION please visit the nearest IRCTC counter

  22. The cancelled ticket details would be updated in MY TICKETS records

TO CHECK PNR STATUS
  1. SELECT PNR STATUS in IRCTC

  2. ENTER the TEN DIGIT PNR NUMBER

  3. SELECT PNR STATUS

  4. An SMS would be sent with TEN DIGIT PNR NUMBER

  5. PNR status will appear

Note: PNR check can be done only for Tickets booked through IRCTC (website and mobile).

TO CHANGE IRCTC LOGIN
  1. SELECT CHANGE IRCTC LOGIN in IRCTC

  2. ENTER NEW USERNAME and PASSWORD
    1. This USERNAME should be REGISTERED with IRCTC

  3. SELECT IRCTC LOGIN

  4. An SMS would be sent with new LOGIN DETAILS

  5. LOGIN is ENABLED with NEW USER NAME
